ARMR Moto Kiso 2 Jacket Review

ARMR Moto are a relatively new brand that promise good quality, affordable products – and this ARMR Moto Kiso 2 Textile Jacket certainly delivers that. It’s comfortable and comes with features normally found on more expensive kit. It has CE-approved elbow and shoulder armour, is waterproof and breathable and has a very effective, detachable thermal liner. There are decent-sized pockets all over the place and two internal waterproof ones for phone and wallet.

I was worried the waist strap would leave the bottom section of the jacket billowing out to look like some sort of bizarre skirt, but it doesn’t. The ARMR Moto Kiso 2 Jacket has a main zip and storm flap and Velcro straps around the wrists and neck, which are all still working well after 3500 miles. For under a hundred quid (and it also comes in red, blue, dark grey and fluro yellow)… this is a brilliant jacket if you’re on a budget.

ARMR Moto Kiso 2 Jacket Review

The wrist straps don’t pull in the cuffs enough for my liking. I prefer to have gloves outside my cuffs and it’s a fiddle with the ARMR Moto Kiso 2 as the straps don’t get the cuffs snug enough to the skin. And it’s leaked a tiny amount around the bellybutton area when ridden in heavy rain, I am left with a damp patch around the size of a 50p piece after a particularly wet ride, but I can’t find any other signs of leakage and the pockets are sound!
